Making an Impact
Our Alumni Association executive committee members met several
institutional units over the course of a full-day workshop in March, discussing
issues such as graduate and student employability, entrepreneurship and
livelihoods and student funding and mentorship. Alumni are a critical
component of student success and can help in many ways: sharing expertise,
networks and resources; being active ambassadors; offering employment and
internships and being mentors and coaches. Our University asks our alumni “Alumni are
to Change the World positively – and they do! Many thanks to our elected
members, who volunteer tirelessly for the greater good. Pictured are (from a critical
